This weekly drama club offers a creative space for young people 11-18 to express themselves and work collaboratively with others.
What to expect?
- Drama games
- Acting and Improv games
- Prop making / Set building
- Get experience with Lights & Sound
- Try out filmmaking
- Fun and socialising
- Work towards an end performance / exhibition / film that suits you.
We offer a safe and supportive space for young people to explore their imagination, build confidence, and make new friends.
Our drama club is designed for all young people aged 13-18 who are looking for a positive and productive activity to have some time for themselves. This is a welcoming environment where you can relax, have fun, and be yourself.
Arrive from 4.30pm, meet new people, fuel up with some snacks and socialise. Session runs from 5pm to 6.15pm and we'll have a short cool down / reflection at the end.
Runs every month in 2024, usually on the last Sunday of the month.
Relaxed Creative Writing Group

Come along to The Wee Retreat on Sundays for a relaxed session on creative writing.
- We will start with some short writing exercises and games to warm up our brains and get prepared to think creatively.
- Then there will be some time to breakaway into groups or individually to work on anything you'd like to write.
- At the end of the session, we will come together and there will be time to share an excerpt of what we are working on.
- There is no expectation for anyone to share anything with the group but the opportunity is there for anyone who would find this beneficial.
This Creative Writing Group is open to anyone and you're welcome to explore writing in any genre which takes your fancy.
Whether you're looking for some feedback on your writing, the space to work on something you've started or just an excuse to write then this group is for you!
Tea, coffee and WiFi included. We will have some writing materials available but feel free to bring your own.
